Crafty sentiments challenge use a border punch

Good morning everyone! thursday means another challenge over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog, which this wk has been chosen by Claudine and she is challenging us all to use border punches (pretty easy huh?!) Don't we all have a MS or Xcut beauty that we either use constantly or needs getting out to be used again?! I actually only used my MS doily punch to create a different edge to the front of my card but some of the other DT have used them in brilliantly unique ways!

For my card this wk I have used this cutee sitting Amy stamp available at the store and I have attatched these feather butterfly wings which I have had hanging around my stash forever! My background is a gorgeous digi scene stamp called whimsical log from make it crafty, thanks so much Carol for pointing me in the direction of these, her stunning card with the fairy tree house got me over there pronto!! My backing paper is pink petticoat and my flowers have been punched with a tonic flower punch. My sentiment is papermania and my tiny pearls from stash.

I have stickle sparkled her wings to cover up the print on there I wasn't as keen on lol! I am entering this card into Incy Wincys challenge of anything goes, Tuesday throwdowns challenge of using punches and paper sundaes things with wings challenge
Thanks so much for coming by to visit me again, hope you can join in with our challenge this wk!
Hugs to all

OSAAT anything goes challenge!!

Hiya folks! Sunday again means another challenge over at OSAAT and this wk we are saying "anything goes!" Yep nice and easy so everyone can join in with our challenge!
We are being sponsored this wk by cropstop so why not join in?!
I was lucky enough to work with one of our creators in store, floppy latte designs, I have used the gorgeous digi mini sweets kit full of the yummiest papers and digital embellies for my card, you can find them in the store here.

I have followed the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday and continued throughout my card by decorating the inside with the yummy papers and the digi flowers from the kit. My sweet little image coloured with prismas and given a little distressed look is fairytale Chloe from Pink gem designs, so pretty isn't she?! My little flowers inside were punched with a tonic punch and all my flowers both punched and digi have pearl centres.

I have distressed the edge of my cut out image with tea dye and vintage photo distress inks and edged in golden rod stickles

The aperture is outlined in cardstock and pink lace from my stash. All the papers have been distressed and stickled of course! The grey lace across the top of the card is prima and my sparkled flowers are wild orchids. My sentiment tablet was part of the digi kit and then stamped with a waltzingmouse sentiment stamp.

I am also entering this card into flutterby wednesdays winged things challenge (there is a little birdie in there!), ABC D is for distressing challenge, delightful challenges make it sparkle, Charismas anything goes challenge, stamp it crazys anything goes challenge, challenge up your life lace and pearls, cowgirl up 3 flowers galore challenge (I have 3 diff dps and 3 diff flowers in roses, punched flowers and digis), sentimental sundays dimension challenge and if the shoe fits flowers challenge.
And in store now we are celebrating halloween! There are lots of spooky images papers etc all available now so why not jump over and see what there is to offer!

I hope you have enjoyed popping by my blog today! Don't forget to pop and give some of the other DT some love and then join in with our challenge! Hugs everyone

Edward in the meadow

Hi everyone, hope we are all well in blogging land! Today I have made a card for a fellow Twilight obsesee (it's my sister lol!) She doesn't know she is getting this yet but she is away the weekend crafting (lucky thing) so it should be a nice surprise when she gets home. I have made it with this wonderful Pixie dust image "my sparkle Edward", anyone who hasn't read the books/ seen the films will have no idea what the releveance of this is at all lol!
I have followed the sketch over at the pixie dust challenge this wk.

I have used these gorgeous digi papers from the fabby Susan over at crafty chaos again. I have distressed the edges and sparkled with lavender stickles. I have printed a grunge overlay onto some transparency and cut out the circle behind Edward (not all that obvious in the picture) and stuck it over a circular piece of complimentary paper. My lace, ribbon and charm are from stash and my flowers are from wild orchids. My rub on flourish is K&Co with gems from stash. Edward has been "sparkled" with stardust stickles!
My papermania sentiment says Just because... and inside my card it reads "who doesn't want to see Edward in the meadow?!"

I am also entering this card into Simon says stamp and shows challenge of grunge, corrosives challenge of clean up the dust (the rub on flourish has been in my stash for 2 years!!) and totally papercrafts challenge of a kind of magic (sparkly vampires have to be kinda magical!)
Hope everyone has a sparkly kind of evening! Hugs

Crafty sentiments use your scraps challenge

Good morning everyone! Today sees another chalenge over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog which has this wk been hosted by Heather and she has challenged you to use your scraps!! We are also sponsored by the crafty pad for this wks Prize!
This is a fairly easy task for me as you should see the size of my bag of scraps! I think if you use a lot of digital papers there are always plenty of scraps hanging about!! Speaking of digi papers there will some of those in the store soon too woop woop!
I have made my card with this cute xmas stamp that you can buy from the crafty sentiments store, isn't she cute? I have followed the sketch this week over at create for fun.

I have used scraps of 3 different coloured sparkle card stock, in cream, green and teal. My background paper is a pale green embossed wedding paper (I think K&co don't quote me on it!) My green patterned paper in vertical strips is from Susan at Crafty Chaos and the green floral patterned paper under the image is from a scrap bag at the paper mill.
My lace is wild orchids and my sentiment is a digi download from cuddly buddly.

My gorgeous snowflake is cut with Marianne creatables from the different sparkle card stocks and my pearls are from stash and yep NO FLOWERS!! I actually made this in mind to put some poinsettias on it, with it being xmas but then forgot lol! I actually quite like the finished look without any flowers (dare I say it).
I also wanted to enter this into spoonful of sugars anything goes challenge and tuesday taggers it takes all sorts challenge.
Thanks so much for coming by to visit me again, I hope you can join in with this challenge and maybe pop and see the other DT and show them some love! Hugs everyone,

Tiddlyinks sketch

Hi everyone. Today I have made a card using the sketch over at Tiddlyinks this wk. It is quite a simple sketch that I have adapted to suit my card! I have made a concertina card for a 3D effect scene using 2 stamps from Tiddlyinks.

The background in the card uses the gothic window stamp and I have used the Katrina stamp at the forefront.

I have used Pink petticoat fluffy clouds paper for the background of my card. I printed the window stamp out twice so I could colour the scene. My forefront paper is from Tiddlyinks too.

I have used Marianne creatables for my flourishes which have been stickle sparkled. My flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts, again stickle sparkled.
My digi papers have been distressed with tattered rose ink and outlined with copper stickles.

My butterflies are xcut, pearls are from stash and sentiment is papemania cut with nesties.
I have a fair few photos as I wanted to show the card from different angles so you could see both the stamps and the 3D effect.

I also wanted to enter this into Digital tuesdays all about the girls challenge, Creative inspirations 2 stamped images challenge and flutterby wednesdays winged things challenge.
Thanks again so much for coming by my blog to say Hi! Hope everyone is well! Hugs to everyone,

OSAAT OWH happy birthday

Good morning people, happy sunday to you all and it's another challenge over at OSAAT this wk which is celebrating the birthday of Operation write home. There are regulations for the cards made for this which you can read about here. Here is a little info on them...
Operation Write Home is an organization that sends blank handmade greeting cards for all occasions to deployed service members to write home on. They’ve mailed approximately 500,000 cards so far—and are still going strong! Our challenge to you is to make cards to send to them for our nation’s heroes.
Here is my first card for this challenge and I have used an image from Cardmad fairy available at the stitchy bear store

For this card I followed the sketch over at stamp with fun this wk and used these yummy digi papers from my lovely friend susan over at crafty chaos.
I would also like to enter this into Tuesday throwdowns challenge of distressed for OWH, Cute card thursdays challenge of tweet and flutter as there is a butterfly on my project from hobbyhabitat, totally papercrafts challenge of happy birthday and secret crafters anything goes challenge. My lace and gems are from stash, I have distresses with Tim Holtz dusty concord, my flowers are wild orchids and my flourishes are marianne creatables

My next card has been made using an image from Lexi also available in store, this is Chrissie. I have again used Susans lovely digi papers and this time have followed the sketch iver at sweet sketch wednesday
I am also entering this into Digital tuesdays challenge of sports theme (she is rollerskating) and stamp somethings digi day challenge.

I have used ribbon, prima flowers and brads from stash. My sentiment stamp is papermania, my butterflys are MS punched and my die cut corner is again from hobbyhabitat

I have kept both my cards simple for the OWH rules and have made them both A2 size as opposed to the normal square, I have also not added any glitter which is all totally out of my comfort zone and I'm not sure how much I like my cards like this lol! I would love it if you could join in with our challenge again this wk for such a wrthy cause!
Lastly a quick thankyou to the 45 comments I recieved on my post last wk for the autism challenge and so to pick my winner for the candy and at random it is Scrappy scatty! Please e mail me at lanewilliamsfamily@btinternet.com with your address so I can send out your goodies to you! Hugs everyone

Crafty sentiments colour challenge and a quick sneek peek at creative cottage

Good morning everyone, I hope the illnesses are keeping at bay for most of you! I feel much brighter this morning, which is a good sign as I am prepared to stand in the rain all of saturday with friends at the Southport airshow so am likely to be ill again come monday lol!
This morning sees another challenge starting over at crafty sentiments and this wk we are looking at a colour combo challenge of blue, grey and yellow. I actually really like this colour combo so why not have a go?
My card today was made using the fabulous sketch over at sunday sketch and stamp. I apologise for the not so bright photo as it was a particularly rainy day when this was taken! I have used this adorable polymer stamp from crafty sentiments to make my card. It is a first birthday card for my cousins son, which my mum has asked me to make.

I have used digital dotty papers from Pink petticoat in the 3 colours and have drawn in my fake stitching.

My uber cute image was coloured with Prismas, my ribbon and teddy charm are from my stash. I hand cut my bunting and used mini rub ons for the letters (simply sweet) and attatched to the ribbon with glue.
I am also entering this into totally papercrafts challenge of lets go dotty and simple doodles challenge of colour me with dots. Check out what the other DT have done for this fab challenge at the challenge blog here and why not join in to win a fab prize!
I would have loved to have entered this into the creative cottages birthday boy challenge too but that would have been cheating now wouldn't it lol! But speaking of the creative cottage (lol did you see what I did there!) it's another chance to win a new kit with a sneek peek! Todays kit is another Jai li kit but a friendship one, aren't the colours gorgeous! No makes from me with this kit today but here it is in all it's glory!

It's gorgeous! I will be making plenty with this one soon but have been a bit snowed under at the mo! So why not pop along to the blog and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning this cutee!
Thanks for coming by my blog to say hi and leave your lovely comments! I am determined to catch up on some of yours now I'm feeling better! Hugs everyone

I have paper pieced Pirate Ians hat and neck scarf and coloured him with prismas. I have followed the sketch this wk over at the secret crafter. I have also followed the colour theme of red white and blue over at Create for fun this wk and Craft catz is having a paper piecing challenge.

I have used twine from my stash and my skull charm is from an ebaying purchase. My adorable ticket sentiment is pink gem designs and my star brads were tucked away in my stash too.
